After 5 years of regular teaching and activities organisation, we are in need of a period of time to complete and prepare projects that regular teaching does not allow. We will come back to you in Fall 2011.
We are still deeply involved in argentine tango in our area, and would be pleased to help you with any question you may have concerning this wonderfull dance, music and culture.





Group classes are given by "Tango El Abrazo" 's team.  Émilie & Louis will be teaching more advanced classes as well as being present in the supervised practices for everyone. Kelly and Patrick will be teaching the beginner I classes. 





With the collaboration of those municipality community services:
 

    Cost: $120 per person ($100 for residant of hosting city).

  • BEGINNER & BEGINNER II:
The beginner class has for objectives the basic language of argentine tango: connection and improvisation. Fundamentals technics as the connection between partners, walking, pivots, turns, musical listening, etc. Those elements gives the opportunity to improvise on the dance floor and to gain autonomy.



  • TANGO "TAILORED"
You always do the same sequences? There's dust in your memory? You've seen this cool video on You Tube but... how to do it without breaking your own neck? Tailored tango is the answer. Class topics will be "tailored" upon the participant's own goals.

  • APPETIZER WORKSHOP BEFORE THE MILONGA
$15 per person. The fee includes entrance to the following milonga. As Buenos Aires tradition.
October 31, November 28, January 30, February 27, March 27 & April 24.

The goal fo this workshop is to learn tiny and easy movement, but which magnify their effect. You will be able to surprise your partner with a simple twist.
